Wedding Band Prices Guide

Prices for wedding entertainment can vary a great deal from band to band, depending on a range of factors including the number of musicians and the distance they will have to travel. As a very rough guide, the price for a professional wedding band starts at around £1000. For this you can expect two one-hour sets of first-class live entertainment performed by some of the best bands the Midlands have to offer.

More for your Money

Additional services are also available on request. If you have a special song which you would like the band to play for you, just let us know and we will ask them to learn and arrange it for you (some of our acts will even do this for free!) What about before and after the live performance, and during the break? Why not have your band provide a disco service using the latest DJ software? Again, various bands include this at no extra charge. Not hiring a separate wedding DJ can help you to save hundreds of pounds.

Three-Piece bands: Available from £1,000

A typical three-piece wedding band consists drums, bass and (usually) guitar with one or more of the musicians providing vocals. A good three-piece band can produce a lot of sound and will be able to get everyone up and dancing. Famous three-piece bands include The Police, Nirvana, Muse, Green Day and The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Perfect if you're looking for a professional-quality act on a budget.

Four-Piece Bands: Available from £1,150

Perhaps the most popular choice in recent years, four-piece wedding bands are extremely versatile. With either three or four instruments plus vocals, they are well-equipped to emulate the styles of music you love the most. Four-piece bands can cover rock, pop, soul, funk and pretty much any other musical style you can think of. Ideal for hard rockers or pop divas.

Five- and Six-Piece Bands: Available from £1,300

Five- and six-piece wedding bands have the greatest flexibility when it comes to covering soulful styles of music with a vintage feel. The addition of keyboards and/or brass opens up whole avenues of possibilities when it comes to performing vintage floor-fillers by the likes of Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, as well as modern classics by artists such as Beyonce or Amy Winehouse. Definitely one for the soul sisters amongst your friends and family.
